Free the Children Assembly

On march 9th and 10th, all grade levels were able to assist the Free the Children Assembly. This assembly, which doubled as a show, taught students about children living in India, and showed us how privileged we are to have an education. Students who had visited India talked about what they had seen, and showed us a small segment of the award winning documentary they had created while visiting. They introduced us to the Indian culture with the help of a hilarious skit and a few beautiful Indian dances. Students in the audience took part in activities showing statistics, and a student even sang an incredibly entertaining song with an Indian twist to it!

They also had a blast in their holets, especially in the outdoor spa! Heritage's very own Black Diamonds Crew created a video showing the trip's highlights. Here it is, enjoy!
